Google’s plans for philanthropy

Google.org just revealed its new plans for philanthropy for the next 5-10 years.

Their 5 core initiatives will focus on:

  • Developing Renewable Energy Cheaper Than Coal (RE
  • Accelerating the Commercialization of Plug-In Vehicles (RechargeIT)
  • Predicting and Prevent Disasters (environmental, infectious disease, etc.)
  • Informing and Empower Communities and Citizen to Improve Public Services
  • Fueling the Growth of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises in developing countries
